What is Shake the Dust?
Think Friday night Rave!
Shake The Dust is a transformative and embodied practice of the body heart and mind. We journey between perpetual movement, rest, release and free movement.
With shaking, jumping, dancing, intuitive movement (sometimes yoga too), pilates, somatics and bodyweight training, not to mention a carefully curated playlist, this class is designed for anyone and will at best deliver a great workout, SWEAT and and a strong resilient body.
You do not need previous experience from our trainings to join this one. Everyone is welcome -

MOVING WITH ENERGY
A two-hour experiential workshop exploring movement, energy, intention and stillness through Qi Gong, somatic movement and Yin.
What happens when you begin to notice how energy moves through your body, rather than focusing on getting a movement right?
Join me for a two-hour experiential workshop exploring the felt experience of energy through Qi Gong, somatic movement and Yin, with inspiration from Traditional Chinese Medicine.
We’ll explore different qualities of energy of gathering, opening, dispersing, containing and finding focus and notice how changing our intention can change the way movement feels.
Moving between dynamic movement, softness and stillness, we’ll explore how these energetic qualities can shape our experience of movement.
Everyone is welcome. No previous experience is needed.
