‘The course was spread over three weeks, with one of these online and the others in person. This immersion was intense but beautiful, it allows for real connection amongst the group. The online week featured an array of amazing experts who trained us alongside Kirsty and Jen. The structure of the training was clear and communicated throughout, it followed several modules and left us with a deep understanding of philosophy, practical teaching, anatomy and more.
It took me years to connect with a studio to train with and I am so glad I found Rise. It is truly the most inclusive studio and practitioners I have ever experienced. I truly feel the Rise Academy 200hr YTT has given me so much more than an ability to “teach yoga” (whatever that even is!)
It has given me a brand new perspective and insight on life and connection. It has helped to open my eyes to the importance of recognising and sensing in to all parts of our existence. It has given me wonderful, sustaining friendships where we have supported one another throughout and beyond the course. It has given me a creative outlet at a stage in my life when I wasn’t even aware that’s what I was craving.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from the 200hr YTT at Rise Academy… I’m not sure anyone could know what to expect- it was such an organic experience which felt like it grew and blossomed experience by experience. What you can be guaranteed is the most supportive network of people guiding you who are deeply knowledgable, patient and wise. You are sure to learn enormous amounts about philosophy, yourself, others and the way it all dances together.

It covered far more than "yoga poses", it really opened my eyes to non-dual tantric philosophy, which is not just lived on the mat. ‘Rise Academy was such an amazing training facility for me to gain my Massage Diploma. Kirsty is unbelievably knowledgeable, she really takes the time with every person & every question that is asked. She has so much experience that’s worth its weight in gold! The environment that Kirsty creates is amazing. It’s calm, caring & focused every stage of the learning experience. After gaining my diploma I went straight into working as a massage therapist, I felt ready to do so because the Rise training covers a lot about the workplace too, consultation & client care etc. I have returned to Rise for my further training in Indian Head & deep tissue. ‘The space is beautiful with convenience of facilities inside to make your lunch, drinks etc. Space to breakout and relax and a dedicated studio for practice, with access to the wider Fold studio as well. The train station is 1m walk so convenient for travel, and pubs/cafes nearby for food’
