This Body Massage course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of both the art and science of massage therapy, while incorporating holistic principles throughout its curriculum. This course focuses on the techniques of Swedish massage, working through a full body massage routine.
Participants will delve into human anatomy and physiology while also exploring the therapeutic benefits of massage for relaxation, rehabilitation, and overall well-being.
The curriculum effectively combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice, ensuring that students not only develop practical skills but also understand the holistic impact of massage therapy on the mind, body, and spirit.
Graduates will be prepared against the core competencies in readiness for final assessments to gain certification enabling pursuite of job opportunities in health spas, wellness centers, or as independent practitioners, upon successful completion.
Additionally, the course emphasizes the importance of client communication, business management, and maintaining ethical standards in the massage industry, all within a holistic framework that recognizes the interconnectedness of physical health and emotional wellness. This is an IGCT accredited course where yo will obtain a qualification to perform professionally as a therapist on successful completion of the course.
